Abstract

The marine and fisheries sector is the world's maritime axis sector East Java is a province in Indonesia which is rich in marine resources, a type of sea turtle which is a protected fauna because its population is threatened with extinction according to IUCN regulations, which is included in the Appendix I CITES category, which means that its existence in nature is threatened with extinction. Natural factors such as temperature, humidity, erratic rainfall resulted in unstable sand humidity which affected the embryos of female hatchlings to hatch compared to male hatchlings, even though in nature the breeding process of female turtles requires more male turtles to be used. According to the facts, in the field there are more female hatchlings than male hatchlings. Taman Kili Kili Community Supervisory Committee conducts conservation with semi-natural hatcheries. The program received a response from the Research and Community Service Agency of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Universitas Brawijaya Malang to create a Maticgator innovation that can regulate temperature and humidity in the incubator so that it is stable and can be monitored in real time, with a faster incubation time compared to nature and the percentage of maticgator is higher than that of semi-natural. The method used for partners is to approach, socialize, raise awareness and empower. The impact that can be felt is the increasing number of hatchlings in captivity as a laboratory and turtle education, attracting visitors for hatchling tours, hatchling release programs, making internships and research references. Training professional tour guide groups by providing attractive educational services and information to visitors as income, so the implementation of technology-based product development programs is able to increase the capacity of community groups in the Turtle Conservation, Killi-kili Park, Wonocoyo Village, Trenggalek Regency.
