Abstract

Like other content marketing strategies, infographics have now grown rapidly in mass media and digital marketing. Especially when the designers successfully combine information from the news into visuals that are printed or published via the internet. With this progress, infographic trends have become very important and are used by businessmen to change marketing strategies that tend to be monotonous and behind the times to be more interesting and educational. Based on the situation analysis, it is discovered that almost 50% more students of SMK IPIEMS Surabaya class XIII multimedia majors do not understand the function of infographics to be used as a marketing content strategy. There are several influencing factors, ranging from infographics ignorance to the inability of some teachers and instructors at SMK IPIEMS multimedia majors regarding infographics, therefore it is necessary to carry out training and mentoring activities for 20 students of SMK IPIEMS Surabaya class XIII multimedia majors. Internship at JITC (East Java Information Center) Surabaya and this activity lasts for a month. This activity, as evidenced by the active participation of the participants in mentoring by always filling in attendance during the activity.
