Elderly as the last phase of life experiences various setbacks and changes both biologically, physiologically, psychologically and socially. One of the changes experienced by the elderly is sleep patterns. Serious cases, insomnia will appear. One way to manage non-pharmacological insomnia is to do regular physical exercise, including gymnastics. This exercise has a direct psychological impact which is to help provide a feeling of relaxation, reduce tension and increase feelings of pleasure because when the pituitary gland exercises increase the production of beta-endorphins and their concentration rises in the blood which is also flowed into the brain, thereby reducing pain, anxiety, depression and tired feeling. is a cause of insomnia. The aim of community service is to provide an understanding of seamless fit and symptoms of insomnia. The method of implementation is to describe the discussion and question and answer about insomnia and exercise fitness, as well as to practice direct exercise fitness that contains about how movements should be carried out during the exercise process in the elderly. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest attended by 30 respondents and after counseling almost all the elderly can be stated that the knowledge of the elderly increases. Respondents understand and comprehend starting from understanding to how to carry out fitness that is useful for overcoming insomnia. The conclusion is that fit exercise is carried out helps relax the mind so that it can reduce insomnia.
