Optimalisasi Status Gizi Pada Ibu Hamil dan Wanita Usia Subur di RW 03 Kelurahan Wonokromo Kecamatan Wonokromo

The condition of the mother before pregnancy both posture and nutrition is one of the factors that influence the occurrence of stunting. The nutritional intake of WUS who are at risk of SEZ should be increased in order to have an ideal body weight during pregnancy as well as the nutrition of adolescent girls if not improved, so in the future more and more pregnant women who have short body postures and or lack of chronic energy, thereby increasing the risk of occurrence IUGR and BBLR. This community service activity is carried out to increase knowledge and understanding of the nutritional needs of women of childbearing age to prepare for a healthy pregnancy and to know the nutritional status of pregnant women and women with weight and LILA examinations at RW 03 Wonokromo, Surabaya by measuring their weight and LILA. Counseling uses lecture and question and answer methods. The level of knowledge of respondents can be known by doing a pre test and post test in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the pretest and post test followed by 27 respondents it can be concluded that the knowledge of post partum mothers about nutritional needs and the benefits of consuming vegetables and fruits based on the results of the pre test most pregnant women & WUS do not know, but after doing the post test counseling results almost all pregnant women and WUS already understands the nutritional needs and benefits of consuming vegetables and fruit.
