DNA testing is a part of Biomolecular Sciences that studies genes at the molecular level. This test requires molecular analysis, which is an analytical method where the scope of work extends to the molecular stage such as nucleic acids and proteins. One of the molecular analyzes that is often used is PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). The basics of molecular biology and PCR examinations are contained in the SMA curriculum for grade 12 students.There are limitations to the introduction of molecular biology material, especially regarding PCR in schools in West Bandung, it is necessary to socialize the introduction of PCR for high school students in the hope that it will help students in implementing this material into high school biology lessons. This activity was attended by Grade 12 students majoring in Science at Cisarua High School and 1 Ngamprah High School, West Bandung Regency. The introduction of PCR material begins with providing audio visuals in order to provide an overview of PCR examination techniques to students. Evaluation is done by means of question and answer after presentation and filling out the questionnaire. Based on this evaluation, high school students are very enthusiastic and expect hands-on training in the laboratory for PCR examinations and similar activities need to be carried out for students who have not been exposed to this molecular biology material.
