Abstract

Balanced nutritional food is very necessary for children in addition to increasing the growth and
development of children, balanced nutritional food is also needed to develop the brain so that children
become smart and with nutritious food children will not be easily sick. Early childhood is an individual who
is experiencing a very rapid process of growth and development. The purpose of this Community Service
activity is to increase children's knowledge, understanding and nutritional status about healthy food. The
method used in this activity is nutrition education provided through media granting, cutting and sticking, as
well as anthropometric measurements of the nutritional status of children in kindergarten. The results of
education that uses game media by coloring, cutting and sticking to healthy food. Education aims to train
students' understanding of the food they eat, as well as knowledge about balanced nutrition foods. Results
Anthropometric measurements have an average nutritional status above average. It can be concluded that
the nutritional status of TK A and TK B Surabaya children has good and above average nutritional status.
