Workshop Pembuatan Batik Shibori pada Kelompok Gemawira Jatim I

Abstract

The Entrepreneurial Community Movement is a forum for people who want to start a business or want to develop a business. The Echo Wira group is found in several regions in Indonesia, one of which is in East Java. This group does a lot of activities related to entrepreneurship, but has never conducted a Shibori Batik workshop. Shibori batik is a type of batik that has easy manufacturing techniques but the results are very good. Therefore, it is very important that the skill of making Shibori Batik is owned by the Echo Wira East Java Group. The aim of the Shibori Batik Workshop for the Gema Wira group is to equip the group with the skills to make Shibori Batik with easy techniques but very good results. The method used is direct practice or workshops involving members of the Echo Wira Group. The stages of the activity were material presentation, direct practice, and evaluation of the results of the activity. The output target to be achieved is that the participants are able to make unique and attractive Batikn Shibori motifs. After participating in the Batik Shibori workshop, the participants were very enthusiastic in practicing the material that was presented. Overall, the participants succeeded in making Shibori Batik according to their respective creativity. This training is very useful for participants, in addition to adding skills, it can also increase income if the Shibori Batik is sold.
