Abstract

Growth monitoring, toddlers held at posyandu, which is important, is handled by D / S plenary children who are indicators of the success of posyandu. In the work area of ​​Karah RW 1, underfives who reached plenary status were only 19 out of 52 toddlers (37%) and the implementation of the posyandunya was not up to standard. Community service activities are carried out to optimize posyandu activities. The time to carry out activities with a period of 3 months (from submitting proposals to making reports and evaluations).The method used is to present cadres and mothers who have babies and toddlers, then gather cadres about activities at the posyandu, 5 table standards, how to develop flowers, use Educational Game Equipment (APE) and so on. Meanwhile, mothers of infants are allowed to give attention to the importance of posyandu and support growth and development. Evaluation of cadre training is carried out with pre-test and post-test questionnaires as well as monitoring the implementation of posyandu in the following month. Evaluation of the number of posyandu infants is done through the percentage of infants and toddlers who attend the posyandu the following month (3 months).The results of pre-test and post-test cadre knowledge about monitoring and stimulation of growth and development of infants increased from 41.6% to 91.6%. the results of pre-test and post-test of participants who knew about cadres about the posyandu's flow and governance increased from 37.5% to 83.3%. Evaluation of the number of posyandu infants is done through the percentage of infants and toddlers who attend the posyandu the following month (for 3 months). as well as increasing the motivation of toddlers who attend posyandu and increase knowledge about cadres and diposyandu activities,
